Scope

This symposium is organized for the advancement of the research and engineering activities of environmentally friendly processes, like solution processes, for functional materials such as electronic, magnetic, dielectric photonic, catalytic, semiconducting and superconducting ones. Conventional processes for functional materials such as sputtering, pulse laser deposition, ion plating, chemical vapor deposition etc. need evacuating systems which require high energy waste forcing a high environmental load to the earth. On the other hand, there are environmental friendly processes representative for solution processes which are expected to be used for the preparation/fabrication of such functional materials and resource recovery techniques. Various kinds of processes with environmental friendly would be in the scope of this symposium. Applications of functional materials including device design using such processes and materials would be also included in this symposium in addition to various evaluations, observation and analyses of materials prepared/fabricated by low environmental load processes.

Topics

  1. Development of novel processes with low environmental load for functional materials
  2. Fabrication of functional materials by processes with low environmental load
  3. Observation and evaluation of materials fabricated by processes with low environmental load
  4. Application of functional materials fabricated by solution processes and other low environmental load processes
  5. Device Design using materials fabricated by processes with low environmental load
  6. Techniques and Process with low environmental load for resource recovery from various wastes
